Final Project

It is important for health and wellness professionals to develop psychologically, spiritually and physically because as guide for others we needs to set the example to others and have an integral health in order to promote integral health to others.  The areas that I need to develop to achieve the goals for myself are: body, mind, spirit and soul.
Body I need to reach a healthy life so I can approach to my main goal of having health and condition to work out.  Mind; I need to control my mind in order to control my body and consequently reach my main goal which is have a balance and integral health. Spirit; I need to meditate more in order to have the balance that I need in my life. Soul; I need to have the passion to live a healthy life and promote the integral health to others by setting an example of the benefits that comes with it.
I score my wellness spiritually by meditation and prayer. When I am meditating I can feel the connection with God. Physically; I am currently fighting my sickness with exercise and physical activity such as walking and eating healthy.  Psychologically; Adapting my new life to a balance in all areas make me feel that I am doing what I am suppose to do in order to have a better life. A healthy and balanced life bring so much power to do things that I never knew I was able to do, such it is meditating and controlling my body. I have always had limits that didn’t allow me to do things, but now I believe that I have the power to control my mind, body and have a better spiritual life.
My spiritual goal is to become a better person in order to help others. Being a better youth leader and spiritual guide; who is an example and is reliable. My physical goal is to run a marathon by next year and support all the cancer survivors by overcoming my physical impediments. My psychological goal is to overcome my weaknesses by practicing self-healing and wellness.
My strategy to implement a foster growth in my physical life is starting by working out more and having an exercise plan where my diet and exercise plan trained me to have a better physical performance to accomplish my goal of running a marathon for next year relay for life. Two examples will be: Running every morning after having my meditation time and having a strict diet in order to detox my body and have a more energy.  My strategy to implement an foster growth in my spiritual goal will be having a specific time where I take a time for meditation and get away from distraction and pray to God to make me better person in order to become a good youth leader, to provide me with strength and patience to deal with them and help them better.  Two examples will be meditation every morning when my kids are sleeping so I can have a “me time only”.  The second example will be praying and reading the bible; to me reading the bible and paying I can establish a better relationship with God.  The strategy to implement a foster growth in my psychological goal is to obtain the authority of my mind and body in order to complete my goal and consequently I know for a fact that I will feel motivated and satisfy that I am having a productive life where I am going to be showing my new integral and balanced life.  Two examples will be: Seeking for therapy so I can let go the pain that I have and prevent me from having a better psychological health.  The second example will be allowing myself to change without having the guilt feeling that prevent me to do much of the goals that I have. I need to work on letting myself to feel free from the sicknesses and the cancer side effects.
The way I will assess my progress will be my having a chart of progress and I will monitoring each day in order to have a track of my results in a six months time. At the same time this chart of progress will allow me to see in what areas I am having a lack of progress and who I can manage the time and stress in order to be successful in all areas.  The strategy that I will used to assist maintaining my long term practices and health and wellness goal is to establish a immediate- goal, a mid-term goal and a long-term goal. For stances, I will have the sense of completing goals when I accomplish each goal and I will be motivate to overcome my own goals in the track to the long-term goal of having a balance and integral health.

Unit 8-

Hello, this week we are require to review two of the exercises and practice sessions that we complete during the course for review. To be honest some of them were more difficult than others, but there was two in specific that I founded really beneficial and interesting; loving and Kindness and meditation.   Loving Kindness was a really good exercise because it provided me with a sense of tranquility to think that I really need to be a better person and this way find the happiness that I need in order to help others. The meditation was a completely different practice because I was used to pray, but meditating provided me with the opportunity to connect my body, mind and spirit and it was one of the most beautiful experiences ever, because I knew that I wanted to keep practicing this balance and connection for the rest of my life. In my opinion this two exercises or practices are very important in a Christian believer because we need to have love to everybody and being kind comes with it, and in the other hand meditation in the scriptures and having a connection in order to have a better understanding of what we need to change in order to have a happier and prosperity life.

Unit 7-

This week exercise was great. Meeting Aesclepius meditation provides me with armory and serenity. I founded it really helpful and it was one of the most relaxing exercises so far because after the exercise I was more connected toward and integral healing. The meditation has fostered me to a better psychological or spiritual wellness because I am aware now of the areas and feelings that I need to work on in order to acquire the integral healing and wellness that I am looking for. "One cannot lead another where one has not gone himself" means that as person we need to learn who to follow in order to become a leader. This statement also can be applied to the health and wellness professional because as professional has to have the ability to lead the patient or client to find the way to obtain an integral health and if the professional is not preparate or has not find the balance for a healing will never help others. My own way to implement psychological and spiritual grown in my personal life is having a balance and communion with God in order to be in the right track, every day doing my best to become a better person. Thank you.

Unit 6

The assessment on unit six was based in the effectively choices and the practice toward integral healing and health. Usually the person effort depends on what is important to the person.  The first step is to be still and silent mind. Next, focusing in the four quadrants on the integral map, visualizing the map the person can performed a inventory in order to choose the development that the person want to focus on.   Making questions such as what problem I need to resolve? And choosing the person abilities to develop the healing will be crucial. After the exercise it is important to recheck the observations in order to undertaking integral practice. The area I choose was my hands because it is extremely painful and frustrating to have hands pain.  One of the exercises I want to implement in the meditation in order to heal my hands by programming my mind to readjust my nerves and bonds correctly and avoid pain.

Unit 5-

This week we were required to make a comparison between the Loving Kindness exercise and the Subtle mind exercise. In my personal opinion the Subtly mind exercise is more a concentration and relaxation exercise and the Loving Kindness exercise of unit four is more the exercise of to approach to be a better person knowing in connection with the mind and body aspect.  The connection of the spiritual wellness to mental and physical wellness depends in the willing of the person to make the changes and be another level of healing and consequently wellness. The benefit is the connection between the breath and the mind, making the reaction of supreme relation as result of the connection between the two.  When the person is making the connection of the mind and body; the person acquires the power of healing itself by manifestation the changes in the regular life. When the person is having a positive change due the wellness and healing the people around him/her, the personal life starts changing in a positive aspect including feeling and looking better.
